In this 3-hour workshop, students will be introduced to basic macrame and weaving techniques in order to complete a wall hanging. Macrame knots covered will include the lark's head knot, square knot, and double half hitch. Weaving techniques will include the tabby weave, soumak weave, and rya knots. Each student will leave the workshop with a 1 ft wide by 2-3 ft long piece of art to hang on their wall or gift to a friend.
